Planting of a Red Oak Tree in the “Skanstes Parks” Area

As a token of gratitude and a symbolic gift to the City of Riga for the implementation of the Skanste revitalization project—which has resulted in the creation of a landscaped, green public space accessible to all—we planted a Red Oak tree in Skanstes Parks: a tree that is strong and growing, just like the Skanste community!
Because to plant a tree is to believe in tomorrow. It is a gesture of faith not only in the cycles of nature but also in people—this community and the children who will grow up here!
We express our sincere thanks to the Riga City Development Department Rīga attīstās for their dedicated work in making this revitalization project a reality, and special thanks to Ilze Purmale, Oksana Dumpe, Elita Arbidāne, Dagnis Samauskis, Laura Storķe, Ilona Šmite, Dace Vilaua, and the rest of the team! As well as to Rīgas meži for their knowledgeable execution!
